The General Training exam covers topics of general interest. For the General Training Writing exam, you must write a letter (150 words) and a short essay (250 words). You'll be required to compose a letter on a topic provided by the examiner in General Training Writing Task 1. The letter can be addressed to anybody, including a friend, a family member, or a boss. In assignment 2, the examiner will assign you an essay subject. Keep in mind that you will only be graded on your language skills, not your understanding of the topic.
The IELTS General Writing Task 1 assesses your ability to communicate about everyday subjects. Candidates will have 20 minutes to write a letter to a specific person, company, or organisation. The candidate's response to the question accounts for about 30% of the total writing score.
You'll discover a number of various sorts of essays in this area. The sorts of essays on this list include solution essays, opinion essays, debate essays, advantage/disadvantage essays, and direct inquiry essays.
You may use a pen or a pencil to write, but it must be legible. You have complete flexibility to delete, cross out, and alter portions of your writing, but you must make sure that it is readable.
